Transactions with customers and suppliers are partly in currencies (SEK, NOK, PLN and USD). The impact of changes in the exchange rate of these transactions is not a significant risk for the company. OÜ Eesti Höövelliist has given loans in SEK and NOK and received a loan in SEK, the exchange rate changes of these loans have had and may continue to have a significant impact on the company's financial results. The interest rate risk is primarily associated with fluctuations in Euribor. The rise in Euribor in the second half of 2022 was rapid. While Euribor was still negative at the beginning of June, the 6-month Euribor was already 2.693% as of 30.12.2022. The reason for the sharp increase is rapid inflation in the euro area. The European Central Bank has raised interest rates to combat inflation.
