1. Provider and contracting parties
1.1. The service is provided by STORYBOOK OÜ, registration number 14636888, at Tähe tn 129b, Tartu, Estonia (“Storybook”). For service enquiries, contact info@inforegister.ee. For personal data enquiries, contact info@storybook.ee.
1.2. The customer is the individual or company named in the order. Anyone placing an order on behalf of a company must be authorised to represent it. A user is an individual designated by the customer who accesses the service through their own account.
1.3. Both business customers and consumers may subscribe. A consumer is an individual entering into the agreement for purposes outside their trade, business or profession. Consumers also have the rights set out in section 13. Mandatory consumer rights take precedence over any conflicting provision in these terms.
1.4. The agreement consists of the confirmed order and the version of these terms made available before the order was placed. Individually agreed provisions take precedence over standard terms, subject to mandatory law.
2. What the service provides
2.1. Storybook WEB is a browser extension for Chrome, Safari and Firefox that makes background information about companies and board members available on web pages.
2.2. The extension matches websites to companies and recognises company names in page content. Users can enable the phone number finder to see companies associated with numbers on the page.
2.3. The service may display credit scores, risk indicators, business connections, contact details and other data covered by the subscription. A link to a more detailed report does not automatically include all other paid Storybook services in the subscription.
2.4. Identification depends on the availability of data and whether a match can be made. A website belonging to an international company or registered to a private individual may not be identifiable as a company website. Database coverage figures do not guarantee that every name, number or website will be identified.
3. Technical requirements and your account
3.1. You need a supported browser, an internet connection, an up-to-date extension and the browser permissions required for the service to work. The purpose of each permission is explained before it is granted.
3.2. Trial access and paid use are linked to a Storybook user account. Creating an account or installing the extension does not, by itself, create a paid subscription.
3.3. A single-user subscription is personal and accounts must not be shared. The customer must keep account and billing details accurate and report any unauthorised account use to Storybook.
3.4. Removing the extension from your browser does not constitute notice to terminate the agreement.
4. Your free trial
4.1. New users can try WEB for 14 calendar days. The trial starts when the user confirms activation. Its start and end dates are shown in the account.
4.2. There is no charge for the trial. It does not automatically become a paid subscription when it ends. Paid use requires a separately confirmed order.
4.3. If the user does not subscribe, access to WEB’s paid features ends with the trial. Reinstalling the extension does not restart a trial that has already been used.
4.4. This offer does not include an ongoing free daily query allowance after the trial, including the previous allowance of 25 queries per day.
5. Placing an order
5.1. Before confirming an order, the customer is shown the selected service, number of users, 12-month term, start and end dates, billing frequency, total price, payment method and renewal arrangements.
5.2. An obligation to pay arises only when the customer expressly confirms the order. The order button must clearly communicate that it creates a payment obligation. Acceptance of the terms must not be pre-selected for the user.
5.3. An order confirmation, including the applicable version of the terms, is sent by email or provided in another form that the customer can retain. The terms can be downloaded before placing the order.
5.4. Automatic payments are taken only under a payment authorisation confirmed by the customer. Saving a payment method does not replace order confirmation.
6. Price, subscription term and payment
6.1. A paid WEB subscription runs for 12 months, regardless of the billing frequency chosen.
6.2. Annual billing: €49 per user for 12 months, excluding VAT. The full annual fee is payable at the start of the period. This is equivalent to approximately €4.08 per month, excluding VAT.
6.3. Monthly instalments: €4.90 per user per month, excluding VAT. The total for 12 months is €58.80, excluding VAT. Monthly billing does not make this a one-month or cancel-anytime subscription.
6.4. The WEB, MINI and NOW bundle costs €119 per user with annual billing, or €11.90 per user in monthly instalments. Twelve monthly payments total €142.80. All these amounts exclude VAT. The exact bundle contents and the terms for the other apps are provided separately before ordering.
6.5. The amount due, taxes, billing date and payment deadline are shown in the order and invoice. No mandatory additional charge is added after the order is confirmed.
6.6. Storybook will not unilaterally increase the agreed price during a confirmed subscription period. The price for a new period is provided before a new order is confirmed or under the applicable renewal arrangements.
7. Renewal and ending your subscription
7.1. The subscription is for 12 months. At the end of each 12-month period, it automatically renews for another 12 months unless the customer gives notice opting out of renewal at least one calendar month before the current period ends. If notice is given in time, the subscription ends on the final day of the current period. Access and payment obligations continue until then, subject to statutory rights.
7.1.1. You may opt out at any time before that deadline; you do not need to wait until the final month. Send notice to info@inforegister.ee. Storybook will acknowledge receipt and confirm the subscription end date. That acknowledgement is not a condition for a notice given on time to be valid.
7.1.2. One calendar month is not always 30 days. The order confirmation and reminder will state the exact opt-out deadline. For example, if the period ends on 30 November, notice must be given by 30 October. Deadlines are calculated under the applicable statutory rules.
7.1.3. Storybook will email a reminder at least two calendar months before the current period ends. It will state the end date, duration and total price of the next 12-month period, billing frequency, and how and by when to opt out. This allows the customer to decide before the opt-out deadline.
7.1.4. Renewal takes place at the existing price unless a new price has been lawfully agreed. A reminder does not itself authorise a price change. The renewal provision does not restrict mandatory consumer rights or statutory rights to terminate the agreement.
7.1.5. Notices received after the opt-out deadline will still be answered. Storybook will explain the agreement’s end date and possible options. Mandatory rights and any agreement to end the subscription earlier will be assessed separately.
7.2. The one-month deadline in clause 7.1 concerns opting out of the next subscription period. It does not create a general right to end the current 12-month period at any time on one month’s notice. Requests for early termination can be sent to info@inforegister.ee and will be considered on the basis of agreement or statutory rights.
7.3. Simply stopping use does not end the 12-month commitment. The parties may agree to end the agreement; statutory rights to termination, withdrawal and other remedies remain unaffected.
7.4. If you experience payment difficulties or have a dispute, contact Storybook. This draft does not provide for automatic acceleration of all future monthly payments, a contractual penalty or a blanket refusal of refunds.
8. Existing free users
8.1. Changes to previous free access are handled separately from a new paid offer. These terms do not retrospectively charge for past use or create a payment obligation through silence, keeping the extension installed or dismissing a notice.
8.2. If a user’s contact details are unknown, information about the change will appear in the extension when they next use it. The notice must explain the existing free allowance, the proposed change, when it will take effect and the user’s options, and must be available in a form the user can retain.
8.3. Existing agreements and applicable notice requirements must be considered before free access is withdrawn. The absence of contact details does not cancel previous commitments. Where required, a transition period will be offered or existing rights retained.
8.4. When moving to the new model, existing free users will be offered a separately activated 14-day trial. Starting paid use requires a separate order.
9. Permitted use and interpreting data
9.1. Customers must use the service lawfully and respect the rights of individuals whose data is shown. Access to information does not automatically permit unrestricted publication or use for direct marketing.
9.2. Without a separate agreement, bulk copying of the database, automated extraction, bypassing access restrictions, transferring an account or reselling the service is not permitted. Statutory rights are unaffected.
9.3. Risk assessments support decision-making; they do not guarantee a company’s future payment behaviour. For significant transactions, customers should check that the information is current and consider other relevant circumstances.
9.4. Storybook will address service defects reported to it. Possible data inaccuracies do not release Storybook from its contractual or statutory obligations.
10. Personal data and browser permissions
10.1. The purposes and legal bases for processing personal data, recipients, retention and user rights are explained in the privacy notice applicable to WEB. It will be available before account activation and before permissions are granted.
10.2. BEFORE PUBLICATION: add a verified link to the WEB privacy notice. The developer must confirm whether and when website addresses, page content, identified names or phone numbers are sent to a server, and how query logs are used and retained. This draft does not state that WEB browsing data is never transmitted.
10.3. You can restrict extension permissions in your browser or remove the extension. This may limit functionality, but does not automatically delete your account or end the agreement.
11. Availability, changes and liability
11.1. Storybook will provide the service agreed in the subscription and the updates needed for it to operate. Where possible, significant planned interruptions will be announced in advance.
11.2. In the event of a security threat or material breach, Storybook may restrict access to the extent necessary to address the threat. Where possible, the customer will be told the reason and given a reasonable opportunity to remedy the breach.
11.3. Changes to legislation, security requirements or the technical requirements of supported browsers may require changes to the service or these terms. Changes must comply with applicable requirements and existing agreements. These terms do not grant a general right to change anything without notice.
11.4. Each party is liable for breaches of its obligations as provided by law. These terms do not exclude liability for intent, gross negligence or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
12. Support, complaints and disputes
12.1. For a problem or complaint, email info@inforegister.ee with the details needed to identify your account, a description of the issue and the browser you are using. Do not send passwords or payment card details.
12.2. The parties will aim to resolve disputes through discussion. The agreement is governed by Estonian law, subject to mandatory protective provisions. Unresolved disputes may be brought before a court with jurisdiction.
12.3. Consumer complaints made in writing will receive a response within 15 days. If the complaint cannot be resolved within that time, Storybook will explain the delay and provide a new reasonable deadline. If no agreement is reached, a consumer may contact the Estonian Consumer Disputes Committee (https://www.ttja.ee/avalduse-esitamine) or a court with jurisdiction. Committee proceedings are free of charge for consumers.
13. Consumer prices and the right of withdrawal
13.1. With Estonian VAT at 24%, the total annual price for WEB is €60.76 per user. With monthly billing, the total is €6.08 per month, or €72.96 across 12 individually rounded monthly payments. Both billing options are for a 12-month subscription.
13.2. The bundle’s total annual price is €147.56. With monthly billing, the total is €14.76 per month, or €177.12 across 12 individually rounded payments. Before ordering, consumers will be shown the applicable final price, all payments and the total subscription cost. These figures use Estonia’s standard VAT rate as at 26 October 2026. Where another country’s tax rules apply, the final price must be calculated and displayed before ordering.
13.3. A consumer may withdraw from a paid service agreement concluded online within 14 days of entering into it, without giving a reason. A separate free trial does not replace this right.
13.4. To withdraw, send a clear statement to info@inforegister.ee or to Tähe tn 129b, Tartu, Estonia. You may use the model form below, but you do not have to. Sending your statement before the withdrawal period ends is sufficient to meet the deadline.
13.5. Refunds will be made no later than 14 days after the withdrawal notice is received, normally using the original payment method and without an additional fee.
13.6. If a consumer wants the paid service to start before the withdrawal period ends, a separate express request will be obtained. On withdrawal, a proportionate charge for the service already provided may be made only if the legal requirements are met. No such charge will be made where the required information or request is missing. Free trial days remain free.
13.7. Activating an account, installing the extension or starting to use the service does not, by itself, end the right to withdraw from the service agreement. Any exception for a fully performed service applies only where the legal requirements are met. A 12-month service is not fully performed merely by activating it.
13.8. If the service is defective, consumers retain their statutory remedies, including having the service brought into conformity and, where the legal conditions are met, a price reduction or termination. Choosing Estonian law does not deprive consumers of mandatory protections that apply to them.
