AGIE Management Report 2023

The association has been in existence for the past years and has been making progress on its objective of building togetherness among

Ghanaians in Estonia as well as collectively contributing positively to the host nation, bridging the gap with our home country diplomatically and serving as a liaison for businesses from Ghana to Estonia and vise versa.

Achievements

The new executives to stair the affairs of the association for the next 2 years were inducted into office at the beginning of October 2022.

In the course of the year, outreach programme for passport renewal, replacement and new applications was successfully carried out in collaboration with the Ghana Embassy in Berlin which saw 13 beneficiaries got new passports.

In addition, the welfare Department dished out welfare benefits to qualified members as well as associates.

All committees needed for carrying out the mandate were constituted.

Drawbacks

The resignation of the president, the organizing and Publicity Officer and the inability to fill the financial Officer position during the general election impacted the ability of the team to deliver as expected.

The association could not raise enough funds; invoices for membership dues were not issued due lack of Financial Officer

Conclusion

The year under review has seen some positive developments despite the challenges. The new year is expected o be better.
