AS RW-Trans is a transportation and logistics company, established in 1993. The company deals with international and domestic freight, with a significant focus on oversized cargo and other special transports. In 2018, they also started offering refrigerated transport services on a larger scale. They also rent transportation machines.

The company ended the year 2022 with a profit of 4823 euros, although sales revenue decreased by 8.5%. (7.25 million in 2021 compared to 6.6 million euros in 2022). The volume of transport services remained practically the same. The decline in turnover mainly came from the sale of machines and spare parts, which is not the company's main activity.

The year 2022 was characterized by rising fuel and production resources. Transport companies were particularly hit by the rise in energy prices. Fuel costs have risen again. While in 2021 fuel costs increased by 37% compared to the previous period, in 2022 the increase was 5%. New rules established in the European Union also affect the organization of transports.

In the reporting year, the company did not have any significant research or development projects. Both financial resources and own resources are used for investing in main assets.

In 2023, in addition to the war in Ukraine, inflation and a shortage of labor in the transport sector will affect the economy. We compete with all of Europe in finding qualified labor. It is very difficult to predict economic results, as prices largely depend on economic policy decisions. The European Central Bank is cautiously raising interest rates and it is expected that the rise in interest rates will stop in the fall.

According to the forecast of the Bank of Estonia, economic growth will start to recover in the second half of the year.
