OÜ Estonia is a company based on Estonian capital, located in Türi municipality in Järvamaa. The main activity of the company is the production and marketing of agricultural products.

Plant and animal farming have some environmental impacts, but the environmental impacts of production are under constant control. No prescriptions have been made by the Environmental Inspectorate.

Crop farming

The result of crop farming is seasonal, depending on this, the need for working capital is high and sales revenue is received in the second half of the year – by the end of the year, there should be more than half a year's operating cost coverage.

In the reporting year, the crop yield was satisfactory. The best yield was given by winter rye. However, we expected a better yield from winter barley. In 2022, we were able to collect all the necessary green fodder for animals, thanks to corn silage. Due to the good yield of corn, it is planned to increase the area further in 2023. The sale of crop farming products accounts for 14% of the company's turnover.

For the next year, 724.42 ha of winter wheat, 207.13 ha of winter barley, 92.63 ha of winter rye and 642.01 ha of winter rapeseed have been sown.

The goal of crop farming in 2023 is to achieve higher yields.
