AS Wermo's production activity takes place in Võru city at Põllu 12.

In 2022, the challenge continued in seeking alternative materials/manufacturers due to the rise in input prices. The price increases of existing suppliers/manufacturers were aggressive and large. As a result of good teamwork, we did not have to go along with all the price increases, which saved us from a larger loss. We could not pass on the price increases of suppliers to our own customers in full. The rise in electricity prices affected us significantly and forced us to make faster investments and savings measures.

In 2022, some collaborations with clients ended due to the war that started in Ukraine.

Constant product development activity, i.e. new products that turned into orders, helped to maintain the turnover of 2022 compared to the previous year.

The company was able to further streamline production by involving internal resources.

The year was unprofitable due to unpredictable price increases, but we were able to avoid a larger loss by reacting quickly.

The investments planned for 2022 were fully realized.

The main challenges for 2023 will be activities in finding alternative materials/suppliers, ensuring order volume and maintaining stable prices for customers. The price increase may significantly reduce the volume of orders and a modest price increase may mean a loss for the company.

Despite the challenges in the world market, the company's advantage is that it does not only work with one type of material and the volume of orders is sufficiently ahead, which allows for flexible production.
