      Our company offers glass packaging to the food and beverage industry based on environmental and consumer experience. Our work focuses on diligence, technical skills and long-term heritage in order to create packaging that is both safe and recognisable.

      Industry faces the need for transition to a circular economy, while brands are looking for distinctive visual identity and a reliable supply chain. It is also important to reduce the carbon footprint and weight of packaging without endangering the preservation of products or food safety.

      We work with brand owners, designers and manufacturing partners to offer glass packaging, design support and partnerships that help to lead from ideas to extensive production and increase glass reuse. In addition, we develop circulation and recovery programs that support sustainable customer goals and community impact.

      We are distinguished by the global production network and centuries of technical experience since 1903, with a clear focus on sustainability and quality. Our goal is to support brands in their efforts to create recognizable packaging and move one step further towards a circular economy and a lower emissions for the future.

      Introduction According to the Estonian economic activities (EMTAK), the activity code of O-I Estonia AS is 23132 - glass container production. In the 2022 financial year, 78,560 tons of glass containers were produced (76,862 tons in 2021). Compared to 2021, production volume increased by 1,698 tons or 2.2%. The increase in production volume can mainly be explained by the decrease in the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on sales volumes and the increase in demand for glass containers in Europe due to the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
