      OÜ Apotheke Keskpuiestee Apteegi ja Püssi haruapteegi põhitegevusalaks on ravimite jaemüük. Kahest osakonnast üks - Püssi apteek- suleti.

      Sulgemiseni viis asjaolu, et elanike arv on asulas vähenemas, töölkäijad on suundunud suurlinnadesse- Jõhvi, Rakveresse.

      Kuna Keskpuiestee Apteegi kõrvale lisandus Kiviõli linnas konkureeriv apteek, siis müügitulu vähenes. Käibe langust on oodata ka 2024 aastal.
