's activity report 2022
Introduction
The main activity of Ramirent Baltic AS is the rental and sale of construction equipment and the production of modular buildings and construction cabins from wooden structures.
The Group has branches in Lithuania and Latvia and a subsidiary in Estonia.
2022 passed in a changing economic environment, the balance at the beginning of the year turned into strong growth in the second half of the year. The modular house factory continued to operate as a subsidiary of Ramirent Baltic, Ramirent Modular Factory AS, supporting the Group's main activity in construction equipment rental, while expanding the volume and profitability of export production.
Financial results were affected by increased costs, inflation.
The Group managed to increase its market share in all three countries, maintaining a leadership role, while continuing to supplement, renew and restructure the equipment park.
Despite the general uncertainty of the economic environment, we expect further growth in business volumes in 2023. The increase in the prices of equipment, products, services and labor costs is covered by the overall efficiency and productivity growth of the Group, therefore the expected impact on financial results is minimal.
The possible supply problems of construction equipment associated with the war in Ukraine will not have an impact on the company's financial results and business sustainability in the short term.
