Company's field of activity, service groups and planned changes

OÜ Alpter Grupp's main activity is providing international and domestic transport services with heavy-duty vehicles. The company was registered in 1997 and is a member of the Estonian International Road Carriers Association.

The main directions of international transport are the European Union member states and to a lesser extent the former USSR countries. We provide transport services with tractor units and we use dump, refrigerator, tarpaulin, special-purpose and container semi-trailers. Mainly food, construction and industrial goods, wood chips, pellets and sawn timber are transported. Own goods transport does not take place. The company has about 60 trucks and various types of semi-trailers. The fleet is estimated to be divided into two: 1/3 provide services in international markets and 2/3 in domestic transport.

Significant events of the financial year and expected development directions

Sales revenue increased by 3% compared to 2021. A significant part of the increase in sales revenue was contributed by the growth of all possible internal prices. If in 2021 we fought the virus and its consequences, now we were faced with the situation in Ukraine and its effects. Transport directions changed and supply channels of goods are still changing. Deliveries of spare parts necessary for maintenance of equipment have been complicated and more time-consuming than usual orders.

Beliefs have become more flexible due to circumstances and the desire to make longer plans has been postponed again, not all changes can be planned in advance. We continue to be flexible, live one day at a time and respond according to market and customer needs.

In conclusion, it must be said that the company coped in difficult conditions thanks to understanding cooperation with customers and the flexibility and understanding of employees.

Despite increased labor costs, the lack of qualified labor and an unpopular attitude towards the transport sector continue to be a major problem. The sector is still heavily regulated, demands are high, responsibility is great and the benefits received are not proportional.

Estonia has a bad position among third country leaders in offering work to international drivers, other European Union countries are more liberal and temporary labor is valued more. Making new investments is associated with great risks, ordering new trucks and trailers has become more expensive and longer due to the complicated situation in the world.

The goal for 2023 is to continue to provide transport services and to emerge from the unprecedentedly difficult situation worldwide with our customers and employees. We want to be sustainable in the fight against Europe's highest inflation and its consequences. We are preparing for the introduction of new EU regulations that will come into effect in the near future.

Investments and environmental impacts associated with the activity In 2022, 1.3 million euros were invested in fixed assets, including the acquisition of 12 trucks and 12 trailers. In 2023, it is planned to acquire new transport equipment as needed and, if possible, to continue renewing the fleet. The volume of investments depends on the conclusion of transport contracts and the need to replace depreciated equipment. The volume of investments will increase compared to the previous year, as the equipment to be acquired and financing conditions have significantly increased.

OÜ Alpter Grupp has sought to reduce the environmental impacts associated with its activities by acquiring new trucks and trailers that meet at least Euro 6 requirements. We only use Euro 6 trucks. Economical driving and thus lower fuel consumption ensure less environmental pollution.

We pay more attention to dangers and economical driving. We expect customers to be ready to switch to more environmentally friendly

HVO fuel, which has a smaller CO2 footprint.

Revenues, expenses and profit and main financial ratios The sales revenue for 2022 was 11.1 million euros, of which the sales revenue from the main activity of providing transport services accounted for 92.5% or 10.3 million euros. Compared to 2021, sales revenue increased by 9%. Sales in Estonia accounted for 74% of the financial year's sales revenue and foreign countries 26%. Other business income was 656 thousand euros and financial income 9 thousand euros during the financial year.
