's activity report 2022
The areas of activity of AS Fujitsu Estonia are: • IT infrastructure maintenance, management and management services; • software solution analysis, design, development, testing and implementation; • computer repair, maintenance and sale; • computer workstation user support services; • provision of Fujitsu's internal corporate services.
During the last financial year, turnover increased by 9% compared to the previous financial year (2021/2022: decreased by 3%). The number of employees decreased at the expense of user support. During the financial year, we had an average of 353 (2021/2022 389) employees. A total of 3430 m2 of workspace was in use (in Tallinn, Tartu and Pärnu).
The total turnover of software solutions increased by 34% compared to the previous financial year, accounting for 27% of the company's total annual revenue.
The volume of user support services decreased compared to the previous financial year. During the financial year, jobs were reduced, and the provision of Latvian and Lithuanian support was terminated. However, the opportunity to offer a career path and interesting challenges to existing user support staff remained. Automation has allowed people to deal with more complex, non-standard situations, and AI-supported virtual assistants are part of sustainable and modern user support. The user support department serves customers in Estonian, Finnish, Swedish, Russian, Danish, German, Norwegian and English.
Last financial year, the Fujitsu Group's EMEIA branch serving financial services and supply chain management department decreased, with 72 employees.
The volume of hardware repair department services decreased by 8%, in terms of work done for foreign markets.
The volume of IT infrastructure services remained at the same level as a whole. Customers are provided with comprehensive support in managing their IT systems (user support services and on-site support).
Hardware product sales increased along with supply chain management-related services, resulting in a total increase of 18% compared to the previous year.
In the next financial year, we will continue to work with our long-term clients/partners and at the same time establish new partnership relationships with Fujitsu's global partners to promote business in Estonia. We continue to focus on export work, but plan to increase market share in the local market as well, including IT infrastructure, cybersecurity services and partner business solution services.
We plan to expand the range of repair and infrastructure services in terms of both types of services and their complexity. We plan to increase the workload of the repair department mainly at the expense of work done for the Estonian market.
Both in user support and financial services, we plan a small increase or stability in the number of employees in Tallinn, Tartu and Pärnu.
The goal of Fujitsu's management in the coming year is the continued development of the organization, supporting clients in achieving their goals and understanding their needs. Fujitsu is a strategic partner for its clients, providing value-creating IT
