OÜ ITAK or Assistive Technology Center was established in 1994 for the purpose of supplying and servicing assistive and care devices for people with disabilities and the elderly in Estonia. Our main goal over the years has been to provide high-quality and functionally suitable assistive devices for people with disabilities, including children and the elderly, welfare institutions, children's educational and welfare institutions, and medical and rehabilitation centers. To ensure better availability of services, a service network has been established with a center in Tartu and service points

In Jõhvi, Narva, Jõgeva, Viljandi, Võru, Põlva, Valga, Tallinn. In 2022, an additional 8 service points were added across Estonia, for the first time in the Ahtme and Keila regions. In 2022, ITAK OÜ also started selling orthoses.

OÜ ITAK's business activities have been influenced by price increases in the world market, rising fuel and energy costs, and pressure for wage increases. There is no seasonality or cyclicality in business, no environmental and social impacts, no risks associated with changes in exchange rates, interest rates, and stock prices.

The main activity of OÜ ITAK in 2022 was still the rental and sale of assistive, care and rehabilitation aids to people with disabilities and the elderly. In addition, we offer our products to nursing homes. OÜ ITAK has entered into an agreement with the Social Insurance Board and the Health Insurance Fund for the sale and rental of assistive devices on preferential terms.

In 2022, OÜ ITAK's sales revenue was 6.0 million euros (4.2 million euros in 2021). Sales revenue consisted of 72% of goods sales and 28% of services sales. Sales increased by 42.6% compared to 2021. 100% of OÜ ITAK's sales revenue came from sales in Estonia.

As an employer, OÜ ITAK's goal is to create a motivating and inspiring work environment for its employees. To ensure the continuous development and better performance of employees, regular in-house training continued at OÜ ITAK. The company employed an average of 58 full-time employees in 2022.
