's activity report 2022
General Information
OÜ Raam Transport has been operating continuously since 1994. The main activity of the company is the provision of transport services within the Republic of Estonia and in European countries (including Finland, Sweden, Norway,
Denmark, the Netherlands, Germany, France, Spain). Transport services are provided with modern trucks and dump and tarpaulin trailers. The company's fleet consists of about 40 trucks and various types of trailers.
As of the end of 2022, the company employed 55 workers.
Overview of Business Activities
The company mainly provides transport services in Estonia to companies engaged in civil and road construction. The provision of transport services is most affected by the cyclical nature of infrastructure construction, the effects of which have been reduced over the years by increasing the provision of international transport in Europe, making cash flow more stable.
To provide a higher quality and more environmentally friendly service to customers, the company invested 264,790 euros in the renewal of fixed assets in the 2022 financial year. In 2023, it is planned to invest 375,000 euros in the renewal of fixed assets.
The sales revenue for 2022 was 7,919,497 euros (2021: 7,633,470 euros). The increase in turnover was due to increased transport volumes both in Estonia and in Europe. About 1/3 of the transport service turnover was made up of intra-Community service provision and about 2/3 of domestic road freight transport. Due to increased costs (wages, spare parts, fuel), the net profit margin decreased by 2%.
The forecasted sales revenue for 2023 is 9,000,000 euros. Wage pressure, high fuel prices and increasing competition pose a challenge to replace less profitable jobs with more profitable lines both in Estonia and throughout Europe. The company plans to improve profitability by replacing domestic transport with foreign transport and also by increasing prices. In 2023, the liquidation process of the subsidiary AB reg nr 559030-9745 located in Sweden will continue.
