The main activity of Sonepar Eesti AS is the wholesale of electrical materials and equipment. Today, there are nine sales departments operating all over Estonia, two of them in Tallinn and in addition in Tartu, Rakvere, Pärnu, Narva, Kuressaare, Võru and Paide. Sonepar Eesti AS is a subsidiary of the parent company Sonepar
Through Suomi OY, it belongs to the world's largest group of electrical materials wholesalers, SONEPAR Group. In order to better highlight the advantages of the entire Sonepar network, our former business name SLO AS changed to Sonepar Eesti AS as of December 1, 2022.
We offer our products and services in 3 main market segments, which are
Installation: Wires and cables; Indoor and outdoor lighting; Sockets and switches; Electrical panels and accessories; Home automation; Lightning protection and grounding; Heating and ventilation; Building automation; LAN and security networks; Solar panels and inverters.
Industry: Industrial automation equipment; Cables and cable trays; Power management devices; lighting; Panels and boxes; Tools and accessories.
Network construction: Network cables; Line accessories; Substations and distribution cabinets; Distribution transformers; Line equipment.
2022 is characterized by an active and complex construction market. Along with the increase in demand and the deterioration of the availability of goods, there was a price increase for all common materials and delivery times lengthened and the promises given to us did not always hold. Thanks to long-term partnership relationships and a good supply network, Sonepar Eesti AS was able to find solutions that were beneficial to all parties.
In 2022, 202 thousand euros were invested in fixed assets! (2021: 129 thousand euros) and it was mainly about IT security and improvements to the head office.
This year we are preparing for the adoption of the latest digital solutions, which will help us operate more efficiently in the future and make the customer experience even better.
In 2023, there are still volatile times ahead in the field of electrical work - several jobs have been postponed to the future, developments have been paused and the delivery times for certain product groups have not improved. We do not predict a decline in the company's turnover this year, but the growth rate will be slower than in the previous two years.
As of 31.12.2022, the company's board was two-member and the council was four-member.
There are no significant environmental and social impacts associated with the company's operations.
Also, there have been no risks associated with changes in exchange rates, interest rates and stock prices during the financial year and the reporting period that would directly affect the company's financial position and results.
The impact of the military conflict that began in February 2022 on Sonepar Eesti AS was significant, but thanks to quick and flexible action, we were able to minimize the negative impact.
