      Tegevusaruanne 2024

      OÜ Sümbio (Marjasoo talu) tegeleb mustika ja jõhvika kasvatamisega ammendatud freesturba väljadel. Saagikust mõjutab oluliselt kevadised öökülmad taimede õitsemise ajal. Mustikaistandute erinevast vanusest tulenevad saagikuse erisused ei võimalda palgatöölistega kuigi suurt osa saagist korjata (nii täidetakse ettetellimused). Põhiliselt sellepärast juba mitmendat aastat rakendame korjeperioodil nn "isekorjamise meetodit", st kliendid korjavad soovitud koguse marju ise. Huvi põllule marju korjama tulla on suur. Jätkuvalt tuleb tegeleda klientidele paremate parkimistingimuste ja muude olmemugavuste loomisega, et korjepäev kujuneks meeldivaks elamuseks.

      Jõhvikasaak koristatakse mehhaniseeritult.

      2024.aastal, nagu ka eelneval aastal hävis marjasaak olulises osas ebasoodsate ilmastikuolude tõttu.

      Aruandeaastal tegeleti ka marjataimede ettekasvatamisega müügiks ja põldude laiendamiseks.

      Probleemiks, millega tuleb tegeleda on istanduse hoolduseks vajaliku tehnika leidmine ja hankimine. PRIA toetusel on saadud hankida tehnikat, mida täiendanes on võimalik turbaväljadel asuvaid põlde oluliselt efektiivsemalt rajada ja hooldada.
