Krausberg Eesti OÜ continued to provide cleaning services throughout Estonia in 2022. The company has three main lines of business - indoor cleaning, outdoor work, special work.
• The daily maintenance cleaning department offers the client maintenance, security and outdoor cleaning services. We perform daily cleaning on various surfaces from small offices to shopping centers and larger warehouse and production complexes.
• The special cleaning department performs one-time orders and also serves regular customers.
The department's services include window washing, deep cleaning, post-construction cleaning, deep cleaning and waxing of surfaces, cleaning of special structures, and cleaning of carpets and upholstered furniture.
• The outdoor work department deals with professional maintenance of streets and green areas.
Maintenance of outdoor territories belonging to residential buildings, shops, office and production buildings is the daily work of the outdoor work department. The department works year-round and ensures that the territories are clean of loose garbage, leaves, snow and ice.
There are no significant negative environmental and social impacts associated with providing cleaning services.
During the financial year and the period of preparation of the report, risks associated with changes in exchange rates, interest rates and stock market prices did not affect the report, there are no assets and liabilities bearing these risks.
Financial results
The company's turnover for the reporting year was 10,078,944 euros, which grew by 18.48% compared to 2021. The provision of cleaning services accounted for 99.96% of sales revenue.
While the revenues for the financial year exceeded the company's forecasts, profitability was weaker than expected. The main influencers of the results were still related to the turbulent economic environment - inflation has raised and will continue to raise the company's cost base in the coming years, including increased labor costs, which in combination have structurally reduced the margin of long-term service contracts in particular. As a result, various negotiations were initiated during the current financial year, various additional measures were taken and also the service provision processes were changed to counteract the decrease in profitability and gradually start restoring them. This process will continue next year.
The seasonality of the company's financial results has remained at the level of previous years. Outdoor work continues to have a greater impact, where the volumes of winter services are about 15% larger than summer ones. Special work, which has a marginal share in the company's total results, has summer volumes about 30% larger than winter ones. The impact of the seasonality of maintenance cleaning, which has a large share, is still marginal.
