The company's primary operations included strawberry cultivation, tomato cultivation, the sale of strawberry plants, and the cultivation and sale of summer flowers. The year 2022 was predominantly marked by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, which significantly impacted various sectors, including agriculture.

Despite the challenging circumstances, Marimarta OÜ experienced a surge in customer interest in summer flowers. The company's strategic decision to expand its flower cultivation operations proved to be a successful venture, allowing it to make a robust entry into the flower market. The company's flower sales in 2022 generated a profit of 8725 euros, indicating a promising start in this new venture.

However, the year 2021 presented a significant challenge when the company received a batch of unsuitable flower peat that did not meet the required standards. Following a thorough analysis, a damage claim of 18,270 euros was added to the balance sheet, which was subsequently transferred to business income. According to the lawyer's offsetting statement, the unpaid invoices to the supplier at that time, amounting to 8951.71 euros, were offset against the damage claim, leaving a balance of 9318.29 euros. This claim remains in the balance to date.
