      Kodumaa Kapitali HLÜ pooldab hoiu-laenuühistute reguleerimist ning suuremate hoiu-laenuühistute allutamist Finantsinspektsiooni järelevalvele. Tõime oma vastava seisukoha välja juba 2020. aasta pöördumises FinanceEstoniale ja Rahandusministeeriumile. Lisaks esitasime oma nägemuse kitsaskohtadest, mille parandamisel saab suurendada kindlust hoiu-laenuühistute suhtes. Kõige suuremaks kitsaskohaks pidasime siis ning peame ka nüüd laenu andmist hoiu-laenuühistu juhatuse ja/või nõukogu liikmetega seotud isikutele. Just seotud isikutele antud laenud on toonud kaasa kahe hoiu-laenuühistu sisulise tegevuse lõppemise.

      Eestis tegutsevatel hoiu-laenuühistutel (HLÜ) on Eesti Panga statistika kohaselt seisuga septembri lõpu seisuga 13 777 liiget
