      Tegevusaruanne 2024

      Urban Farm OÜ põhitegevus 2024. aastal oli ökoloogiliste võrsete ja maitsetaimede kasvatamine vertikaalaianduse meetodil. Enamus toodangust müüdi HORECA sektorile (restoranid ja toitlustusettevõtted), kes hindavad kõrgelt värsket ja puhtast toorainest kasvatatud võrseid.

      Ülejäänud osa toodangust suunati jaekaubandusse, kus müük toimus eelkõige ettevõtte enda poe kasvuhoonete kaudu, mis paiknevad poodide sisemuses ja võimaldavad klientidel osta kohapeal kasvatatud erinevaid võrseid.

      Lisaks tootmisele jätkati nutikasvuhoonete arendust ja müüki haridusasutustele, toetades praktilise keskkonnahariduse ja rohetehnoloogia levikut. Urban Farm pakkus seadmetega kaasa ka koolitusi, kasutusjuhiseid ja järelteenindust. Ettevõtte tegevus põhineb jätkusuutlikkuse ja ringmajanduse põhimõtetel – tootmisjääke taaskasutatakse, pakendid on korduvkasutatavad ning kogu toodang on ökosertifitseeritud.
