Miks leidub paljudel kodulehtedel eraldi lehekülg, mis on suunatud blogipostitustele? Kas asi on pelgalt autori kirjutamisrõõmus või on sellel veel mingi suurem otstarve? Tuleb välja, et on! Blogi kirjutamine toob sulle kui ettevõtjale kasu, olles võimas vahend, mis aitab sul tõsta oma ettevõtte nähtavust ja seeläbi jõuda rohkemate potentsiaalsete klientideni. Kirjutades blogi samal erialal, milles pakud oma teenuseid, annab Googlele märku, et oled asjalikum koduleht kui see, mis teemat ainult korra mainis. Nii premeerib Google sind ka kõrgema  tulemusega otsingumootoris.

  • Vähene liiklus veebilehel: 

    Kui kodulehte pole kuskil turundatud ning otsingumootoris tuleb ta samuti välja alles viiendana, on tõenäoline, et liiklus Su kodulehel on nullilähedane. Blogipostitused aitavad levitada veebilehe olemasolu ilma, et su kliendid seda spam'iks loeks. Jagades blogipostitusi sotsiaalmeedias on rohkem potentsiaali, et kliendid need ka läbi loevad - nii tekibki kodulehe ja sotsiaalmeedia vahel orgaaniline liiklus ning müügipotentsiaal kasvab.
