      Toome allpool välja mõned nõuanded lapsevanematele, mida teha enne lapsega juuksurisse tulekut.

      • Palun rääkige oma lapsega enne juuksuri külastust sellest, mida juuksuris tehakse. Veel parem – mängige see kodus lapsega läbi: kammige lapse või nuku juukseid, lõigake juukseid mängult (kuid palun ärge jätke kääre lapsele kättesaadavasse kohta!).
      • Lastele meeldib olla „juba suur“. Jutustage oma lapsele, et kõik „suured“ käivad ka juuksuris.
      • Kogemus on näidanud, et kui peres on mitu last, siis koos on põnevam ja ka julgem. Kui vanem laps on eeskujuks, siis pärast on ka noorem laps palju julgem. Hiljem, peale lõikust, saavad lapsed oma aega sisustada meie juures mängides.
      • Enne esimest juuksuri külastust võite lapsega meie mängunurka mängima tulla (sümboolse tasu eest), samal ajal näeb teie laps kuidas teistel juukseid lõigatakse ja laps saab aru mida see tegevus endast kujutab.
      • Võite kaasa võtta ka lapse lemmikasja nt. kaisuka või mõne muu lapsele huvipakkuva ja/või olulise eseme. Ka kohapeal on pakkuda põnevaid mänguasju. Me ei tee probleemi, kui lemmikasjaks on hoopis mõni lapse meelissuutäis või terviseamps. Beebidele võib kindlustunde tuua ka lutt või lutipudel.
