The Company Story
Samaria is a foundation that works to create practical and caring support for the community: affordable access to clothing and home supplies, temporary shelter and long-term care for those who need it. Our approach is modest and community-based - we focus on ensuring that resources reach people and the value of use is preserved.
Many people find it difficult to find affordable, high-quality clothing and home things, and the financing of social services requires sustainable sources. In addition, there are many textile and household waste that can be reduced by re-use. These bottlenecks are the reason why our actions are necessary.
Samaria operates both through physical second-round stores and e-shops, as well as through social services - we provide favorable reusable goods, provide temporary shelter and care for people who need long-term care. We support our social mission through donations and additional sales activities, so that trade and the need for help can be part of one of the working circuits.
We are distinguished by a long period of operation and a wider presence throughout Estonia and cooperation with donors and partners in the Nordic countries, which allows us to combine practical trade with direct social work. We are working to reduce waste, to ensure sustainable funding for social services and to maintain the community's care and ability to cope on a lasting basis.
