      Tõrvandi Päästeselt on asutatud 17.02.2015.

      Tõrvandi Päästeseltsi põhitegevus on kohaliku päästevõimekuse tagamine ja üldise turvatunde loomine haldusüksuses. Oma tegevust rahastatakse enamjaolt valla- ja riiklikest toetustest. Päästeseltsile on lisandunud Tõrvandi komandole lisaks Kambja komando. Jätkuvalt tegeletakse kodunõustamistega ja teiste ennetustegevustega kogukonna turvalisuse tagamiseks ning samuti pakutakse tuge riiklikule teenusele.
