      Tegevusaruanne 2024

      MTÜ Üru ja Varkja Külade Selts enamik tegevusest 2024. aastal oli suunatud ilmaradari asukoha muutmiseks. Külaselts käis koos igas kuus.

      Aruteludesse ja tegevustesse oli kaasatud ka Kuumi küla. MTÜ Üru ja Varkja Külade Selts pidas 2024. aastal kirjavahetust radari asukoha muutmiseks Keskkonnaagentuuriga, Saaremaa Vallavalitsusega ja Terviseametiga. Seltsi liikmed käisid juunis 2024 väljasõidul Harkus radari magnetväljade mõõdistamisel. 2024. aastal oli seltsi tegevus töine. 2025. aastal on seltsi eesmärk saada Üru-Pidula tee mustkatte alla.
