The company Trafox Eesti OÜ was established in 2001, but production started in the summer of 2002. The company is part of the Muuntosähkö – Trafox Group, whose headquarters are located in Helsinki and has subsidiaries in Finland, Viljandi and the Republic of China. The most important export destinations for the Viljandi and Finnish factories are

Northern Europe, Central Europe and the United States. The Chinese factory mainly produces for the local market. The main activity is the mass production of inductive components, reactors, filters and transformers. The company's goal is to meet the needs and desires of customers in this field, offering them – compact solutions and as many different product families as possible from the same supplier. Products are used in heavy industry, renewable energy, healthcare, construction and marine industry. The smallest products weigh 5 grams and the largest can weigh up to 3000 kilograms. All production is exported to the parent company Muuntosähkö OY in the Republic of Finland.

During the reporting period of 2022, improvements were made in production processes and reorganizations in production lines. We improved quality systems and changes occurred in the organization. Work environment improvements and risk analysis started in 2022 continued. General lighting improvement works continued. Internal audits related to the work environment were carried out and solutions were found to cope with high energy prices. New products were added to the product portfolio and a new production line was added.

During the reporting period of 2023, the improvement of the work environment and the reorganization of production will continue.

We continue to focus on improving the quality management system and processes together with customers.

One important issue remains the delivery speed and direct deliveries from Estonia to our parent company's customers. In addition, increasing competitiveness and flexibility, which would allow us to quickly respond to changes in the market. Automation of production is planned. New products from new and existing customers will be added to the product portfolio, the negotiations of which started in 2022.
