The global impact of COVID-19 and the war in Ukraine on business remained minimal last year both locally and globally. Global demand for electronic products has increased under COVID-19 conditions and was mainly manifested in temporary disruptions of international supply chains.

The company was able to avoid major negative impact on its supply chain disruption last year in cooperation with customers.

Risks in global supply chains and logistics for electronic components remain the same and continue to carry over into 2023 (increasing costs, insufficient availability, extended delivery times and increased logistics costs, etc.), as the global crisis in electronic components, especially in the availability of semiconductors, is a common phenomenon in the entire industry. The company is managing these risks on a daily basis in cooperation with customers.

The company continuously assesses its social and environmental impact on the environment and operates in accordance with the general principles and code of conduct of Lifco AB. This results in a continuous reduction of negative impact on the environment, such activities include the use of green energy, for example, solar panels have been installed, which significantly increase the share of green energy in the company's energy portfolio. There are no quick alternatives to abandoning natural gas, but the company does not use it directly in the production process.

To hedge currency risks, transactions are made separately in both US dollars and euros, and the main risk hedging activities and management are at the level of the LEAB group owner.
