's activity report 2022
The company Auto-Bon Baltic OÜ, hereinafter also referred to as „Company“ or „Auto-Bon“, was established on July 7, 2008 with the aim of importing and wholesaling Peugeot vehicles and their spare parts. In connection with the change of ownership of the company on June 30, 2018, the former business name KW Bruun Baltic OÜ was changed and the company belongs to the Bassadone Automotive Group.
Main activities during the financial year
2022 was the first year in which the import of new Citroen cars and vans had a full-year impact on the company's operations. As of December 1, 2021, activities were consolidated within the group and the import of Citroen vehicles in the Baltic States was transferred to Auto-Bon Baltic OÜ. As a result of the consolidation, the corresponding employees were also transferred, and the number of employees of Auto-Bon Baltic OÜ increased.
The business activities of Auto-Bon Baltic OÜ were influenced by several COVID-19 related factors both locally and globally, which manifested in an uncertain economic situation up to the temporary closure of factories and uncertain vehicle deliveries throughout the year, for the second year in a row.
The focus was on maintaining sales levels for both Peugeot and Citroen new cars and ensuring the continuity of maintenance activities. Growth was contributed by Peugeot vans and the introduction of new models. Certainly, supply difficulties across the entire sector had a positive impact on margins, as it was possible to make fewer discounts. As a result, both brands lost market share but we were able to increase overall profitability.
The volumes of spare parts and maintenance have been stable throughout the COVID-affected period and were also so in 2022.
