V Spa Hotel Ltd started operations in 2015. The company was established to provide guests with accommodation, catering and conference services. In May 2016, a cozy Parisian-style cafe named V Café started operating on the second floor of the Kvartal business center. On December 1, 2016, a hotel certified according to the Hotelstars Union star system as a four-star superior quality hotel, initially with 79 rooms, opened its doors. By the end of 2017, an additional 7 rooms were built. Among the 86 rooms of the V spa and conference hotel, there are both superior and deluxe rooms offering the best holiday opportunities, as well as luxurious suites.

The V conference center located on the second floor of the hotel offers business clients state-of-the-art conference and training rooms and banquet halls that can accommodate up to 600 people in total. In addition to larger and smaller conferences, the rooms are also suitable for organizing fairs, receptions, concerts and other crowded events.

In 2022, the world was open again and international events could take place after a long period of restrictions and hybrid conferences. Both larger and smaller contact events took place.

It would be particularly important to highlight the many international conferences that have reached Estonia and Tartu. Major events taking place at the V Spa Hotel Conference Center include The 8-th Conference on Russia (organized by Baltic Defence College) held in March. In August, the IUPE13 International Urban Planning and Environment Congress took place in our house. An important event that takes place annually in Tartu is the largest business festival in the Baltic States, sTARTUp Day, during which various larger and smaller events take place in the city. One such event, sTARTUp

Day Executive Day also took place in our house in August.

The hotel also includes a restaurant

Joyce, which offers the best taste experiences from different continents. The restaurant is two-story and can accommodate up to 120 people, which allows for smaller special events. In June 2017, a 52-seat outdoor terrace was added to the restaurant. Today, the Joyce restaurant is very well known and popular among both Estonians and foreigners.

In 2022, the restaurant was mentioned for the first time by the Michelin guide and in Tripadvisor, the restaurant is rated as the top of Tartu restaurants at place #1.

The company ended the 2022 financial year profitably. Sales revenue was nearly 6.7 million and reached the same level as the pre-crisis 2019 and even exceeded 2019 by 2%. The largest customer segment was Estonians, who visited us mainly for holiday purposes. The most foreign visitors were Latvians and Finns. The main sales channels were the website, Booking.com and

Hookusbookus.com. The periods of higher demand during the year were school holidays and summer months, when there are more foreign tourists in Tartu and there is hustle and bustle, movement and events in the city. Certainly worth mentioning is Rally Estonia, which took place in July.

V Spa Hotel is a member of the Estonian Hotel and Restaurant Association and the Estonian Conference Bureau.

The main goal for 2023 is to serve guests safely and profitably.

Continuing to develop guest service, strengthening sales activities and maintaining our position in the hotel landscape across Estonia is still important. A larger development project is related to the hotel's inner courtyard, for which partial funding has been obtained from the Enterprise and Innovation Foundation. The project is called "V Spa Hotel Light Show" and its aim is to bring innovative light shows to the market that provide emotions and added value, which in turn increase the company's competitiveness and sustainability.
