Company Story
Welcome to the enchanting world of Mootorrattamuuseum, where history and passion for motorcycles come alive. Nestled in the picturesque setting of Kurtna, our museum is a treasure trove for enthusiasts and curious minds alike. Since its inception in August 2002, the museum has been a beacon of culture and education, offering a unique glimpse into the evolution of motorcycles.
Our extensive collection, curated by the dedicated Urmas Teearu, showcases over 100 meticulously restored motorcycles from a total of nearly 200 in our possession. From iconic brands like BMW, Harley-Davidson, and Indian to the legendary Soviet models such as IŽ and TIZ, our exhibits are a testament to the rich heritage of motorcycling.
Step into our 300m² permanent exhibition space, housed in a beautifully renovated 18th-century manor outbuilding, and immerse yourself in the stories of these mechanical marvels. Marvel at the rare gems like the 1912 belt-driven Watt motorcycle and the 1960 S-360 racing bike, each with its own tale to tell.
Beyond the motorcycles, our museum offers a captivating array of memorabilia, including vintage helmets, oil cans, and racing gear from renowned riders. For those with a penchant for nostalgia, our collection of old technical magazines is sure to delight.
Whether you're planning a family outing, a weekend getaway, or a special event, Mootorrattamuuseum provides a unique and family-friendly destination. With our cozy accommodation options and serene natural surroundings, it's the perfect place to relax and unwind.
Join us at Mootorrattamuuseum, where every visit is a journey through time, celebrating the artistry and innovation of motorcycles. Contact us today to schedule your visit and experience the thrill of two-wheeled history.
