Company development

The main activity of the company in 2022 was mainly the sale of fresh fruits and vegetables, spices, dairy and meat products, deep-frozen fruit preserves, bakery products, seafood and dried products to companies involved in catering (hotels, restaurants, catering).

In 2022, cooperation was developed with several major European wholesalers to supplement their product portfolio with products such as food oils, canned goods, cheeses, frozen meat and seafood, and

Dutch, Spanish fruit and vegetable suppliers to ensure competitive price and quality.

By the end of 2022, the product range consisted of 30 different product groups, about 4000 products that offer customers the opportunity to order products conveniently and quickly from one supplier.

In 2022, continuous investment was made in IT and logistics systems, the Order Center was developed and updated on the web at www.tellimine.horeca-service.ee which reflects real-time goods information and is a convenient and good tool for the customer. The market has expanded to Helsinki and Riga.

The Tartu branch expanded into larger warehouse and office spaces in Tartu, Aardla 27, where new equipment and refrigeration and deep-freeze chambers were invested, which allow for significantly larger quantities of goods requiring different temperatures (-20c- +8c.) to be stored. Sales areas in Southern Estonia are being expanded.

In 2022, continuous investment was made in the expansion and renewal of the production department's work and equipment.

The fruit and vegetable processing department offers a wide range of fresh, packaged finished products, for which there is a demand in the market.

The company's main priority during the reporting year was to continue active and purposeful market penetration in the HoReCa (hotels, restaurants, catering) sector across Estonia and to improve product portfolios with new products to gain a competitive advantage in this sector.

The main trading partners in the European Union were foreign partners from the Netherlands, Finland,

Belgium, Italy, Spain, Denmark, Sweden, Poland, Germany, which ensured supply reliability and a wide range. Local suppliers and farmers have been significantly involved in cooperation to ensure the fresh quality of goods in the supply chain to the customer.

The main financial indicators in 2022 were the company's sales revenue from main activities of 26.6 million euros, growing by 9 million euros or 48% compared to the previous year. The company's growth targets have been met in the last 2 financial years, 2021 was also a rapid growth of 26%. The 2022 financial year ended profitably. Considering that Covid 19 restrictions applied in the HoReCa sector in the 1st quarter of 2022, the company's results can be considered good. The sector recovered quickly after the easing of restrictions and new target groups were found to increase turnover.
