The building complex on the Turu 2 property is ideally located - at the intersection of Riia and Turu, the busiest streets in Tartu. The property hosts the Tartu city bus station, which is the bus terminal with the highest number of arrivals and departures in Estonia. The largest hotel in Tartu, the 410-seat Dorpat, is located on the neighboring property.
Tasku Keskus, with a total area of approximately 42,000 m2, was opened on August 28, 2008. The 6-storey commercial building on Turu Street has its first and second floors used for retail, service and catering. The Emajõe Business Center office building and Tasku Keskus are connected by a shopping street with a retail area of 2,000 m2. The medical center, restaurants and sports club rooms are located on the fourth floor of the center. Offices are located on the higher floors of the commercial building, where more than 900 people work daily. An atrium starting from the first floor runs through all floors of the commercial building, giving the building both space and light. The center's parking garage has 500 parking spaces.
