We are a non-profit member association that stands for rural tourism and represents the interests of small Estonian producers, accommodation and local communities since 19 January 2000. We work to ensure that people find real experiences in nature, heritage and local lifestyles and that rural areas have a practical and common voice in developing tourism.

Many smaller providers of rural tourism experience limited visibility, strong seasonalism and limited access to cooperation opportunities and export channels. Visitors often have fragmented information that makes travel planning difficult. At the same time, there is a clear interest in authentic experiences based on nature and culture, which creates space for cohesive development and better visibility.

We create conditions for rural services and experiences to be easier to find: we combine service providers, develop thematic routes and collect information together, and involve the fund to create new solutions. We also offer practical support and knowledge by organizing meetings, training and publications to help companies diversify their supply and make services more accessible and sustainable.

For us, local identity and cooperation at both domestic and cross-border level are important: our activities are based on long-term experience and partnerships that help to develop more integrated and year-round rural tourism solutions. The aim of the work is to support viable local communities and to open rural areas to more visitors through joint action and practical support.
