Introduction to the Group

AS Operail together with its subsidiaries (hereinafter Operail) is the oldest and largest railway freight company in Estonia, with experience dating back 150 years. The companies of the Operail Group operated until the end of 2022 on three business lines: ▪ Freight transport in Estonia and Finland ▪ Rental of wagons and locomotives on 1520 mm and 1524 mm railway ▪ Maintenance and repair of wagons and locomotives

The sole shareholder of AS Operail is the Republic of Estonia. The company belonged to the Ministry of Economic Affairs and
