The main activity of Eesti Puurkaev OÜ is drilling geothermal wells. Geothermal wells are drilled for the purpose of heating and cooling buildings. In addition to drilling wells, we also carry out the necessary excavation work and install heat pumps along with the construction of nodes.

To achieve the best competitive advantage, we have added several unique devices to our equipment park, which allow us to be efficient and successful in our field.

In 2023, the biggest investments are the acquisition of a new drilling machine. Today, the order time for a drilling machine is at least 18-24 months. Therefore, investment plans must be made well in advance.

Thanks to the general energy security situation, we see rather a growth in workload in our field.

We see the most important growth areas in the future in the construction of new industrial buildings and renovations of apartment buildings. There is a very large future potential there.

Currently, studies are being conducted in Estonia for the construction of deep geothermal wells. We have made our future investments with a view to being able to carry out 500 m energy drilling with new equipment.

The heat pump system with wells is an extremely energy-saving and green solution. In our opinion, environmentally friendly devices and technologies should also be used for its implementation.

All our drilling machines and compressors are at least Stage 5 level.

The increased interest expense has also affected us. At the moment, we do not have any problems with this and we are able to service our borrowed capital rents very well.

Overall, the year was successful and we are also positive about the future.
