's activity report 2022

Aasta Auto AS, a prominent name in the automotive industry, was officially registered on April 26, 2000. For the first six years of its existence, until mid-2006, the company served as the official representative of Volkswagen in Southern Estonia. However, since July 2006, Aasta Auto AS has been representing the Škoda brand in the same region. The company's commitment to excellence and industry standards is evident in its membership with the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry since 2001. In terms of business performance, Aasta Auto AS has shown a steady growth trajectory. The sales revenue for 2022 stood at 29,641,505 euros, marking a 9% increase from the previous year. The net profit was 1,551,686 euros, a significant 36.6% increase compared to the preceding period. Aasta Auto AS has a sales agreement with Auto 100 AS for the Škoda brand, granting them the rights to sell and provide after-sales service for Škoda vehicles. They also have a similar agreement with Al Mare Auto OÜ for the Audi brand. The volume of services provided by Aasta Auto AS's car service in 2022 was 6,490,715 euros, a 12.7% increase from 2021. The sales volume of additional motor vehicle equipment rose to 678,089 euros, a 25.7% increase compared to 2021. The revenue from new car sales was 20,712,479 euros, an 8% increase. A total of 469 new Škoda vehicles were sold. Despite holding the leading position in car sales in Tartu for twelve years, Aasta Auto AS was unable to maintain this position in 2022, with Toyota taking the lead with 483 vehicles. A total of 70 Audi vehicles were sold, and while they fell behind BMW and Mercedes-Benz in the premium segment, it was the best sales result for Audi. The interest in both Škoda and Audi vehicles was higher than what Aasta Auto AS could supply due to the impact of COVID-19 on the automotive industry. The production of Volkswagen group vehicles faced significant challenges due to a shortage of semiconductors, a problem that is expected to persist into 2023. In the reporting period, investments amounting to 173,798 euros were made in fixed assets. New equipment and tools were purchased for Škoda and Audi car repair workshops, a new car lift was installed, new cooling devices were installed in the workshop, storage conditions for spare parts were improved, and car showrooms were equipped with necessary inventory. Looking ahead to the next fiscal year, the automotive industry continues to struggle with supply chain disruptions and long order periods for many models. The start of the fiscal year has been challenging. However, in 2023, Aasta Auto AS aims to regain its market leader position with Škoda and increase the popularity of Audi models, competing with other premium segment products in Southern Estonia.
