FINEST STEEL AS is the oldest, most modern, and largest company in Estonia specializing in metal cutting, operating in the market for over 20 years. We provide parts and components manufacturing services to a large number of metal and mechanical engineering companies operating in Estonia and neighboring countries.

We want to offer our customers the best possible cooperation and help them achieve their goals. We are oriented towards growth through regular investments in technology, production processes, and people. The company employs 38 people. The production and headquarters are located

in Saue, Tule 22. In addition, there is also a sales office in Narva.

The company's main activity is sheet and tube material laser cutting. In addition, we also deal with plasma and gas cutting and sheet material bending. Over the past two-three years, we have significantly increased investments in renewing our technology park with the aim of increasing productivity and environmentally and resource-saving production. As a result of this activity, we have increased the company's production capacity by almost 30% and saved 6% of resources. The new, state-of-the-art laser cutting technology consumes less electricity and thanks to innovative hardware and software solutions also ensures the most optimal material use. We invested 88 thousand euros in fixed assets in 2022.

In addition to equipment, a great emphasis was placed on the development, efficiency, and flexibility of the main processes in 2022. To ensure long-term sustainability, the ISO 14001 international environmental management standard was also implemented. The backbone of the main processes is digital communication through ERP software, which today allows setting goals in real time and monitoring their fulfillment. All this is reflected in the flexibility and quality offered to our customers and ensures transparency of key indicators for our employees. All this allows the company to adapt quickly in extreme conditions. Thanks to the rapid adaptability in crises, the last years have been very successful for the company.

The average number of employees in 2022 was 40. Along with the renewal of machines and processes, we placed great emphasis on employee training. We provided additional training for production workers on various technologies to achieve greater flexibility in production planning, conducted training programs to raise employees' awareness of various LEAN production methods. And we implemented procedures that help ensure the persistence of employee competence. The second goal of the activities was to create a favorable ground for increasing the staff, if the need arises.

The company has a comprehensive strategy for implementing ambitious innovation. It mainly focuses on the digitalization and flexibility of the service. The strategy was based on previously conducted development work and the company's existing resources. In 2023, we will continue activities to increase production efficiency, improve planning, and increase quality. Previously earned profit allows us to continue aggressively with investments in the equipment park and the development of new digital solutions. In terms of economic indicators, we plan moderate growth.
