's activity report 2022
A1M OÜ was established on 10.04.2017 with the aim of creating the retail chain A1000 MARKET, which is focused on the sale of food and consumer goods. Our focus is to keep prices as low as possible for the consumer. There is currently a lot of competition in Estonian retail, where large, efficiently operating companies survive. The larger the company you are, the stronger you can put pressure on manufacturers and intermediaries, and the more efficiently you can manage. The profitability of trade is affected by increasing competition, labor shortage and pressure on wages, as well as the rapid development of e-commerce.
The arrival of the Lidl retail chain in Estonia will certainly have some impact. Since the competition in this field in Estonia is high, the arrival of a new market participant will certainly take a small but not significant part from everyone.
In the interest of protecting the environment, we strive to increasingly move towards more environmentally friendly packaging. This will certainly affect the selling prices, but it is a matter of keeping up with general development, so prices will rise in connection with this activity for all market participants.
