Since our inception in 1996, METSAKÜLA PIIM has been at the forefront of dairy farming and agriculture, dedicated to providing the highest quality dairy products and grains. With a team of 25 passionate individuals, we have cultivated a harmonious balance between nature and farming, ensuring that every product that comes from our land is a testament to our commitment to excellence and sustainability.

Our sprawling lands, covering approximately 1750 hectares, are a testament to our dedication to poultry production, rapeseed farming, and the growing of cereals. Of this, 650 hectares are richly dedicated to cereals and rapeseed, providing the foundation for our diverse agricultural ventures. The remaining land is a lush expanse of short-term and long-term grassland, from which we produce silage, the primary feed for our dairy cattle.

At the heart of METSAKÜLA PIIM is our state-of-the-art dairy farm, home to approximately 550 milking cows and 500 young animals. Our calves begin their journey in individual pens, ensuring they receive the utmost care in their first days. As they grow, they enjoy the freedom of deep-bedded free-range living, which continues as they mature into our free-range cold barns designed for young animals.

Our milking cows thrive in an insulated barn equipped with eight DeLaval milking robots, allowing for a free-range environment that promotes animal welfare and high productivity. In 2017, we proudly achieved an average milk yield of 10588 kg per cow, a clear indicator of our healthy and happy herds.
